"I am attracted to scenes involving clear light that will cast strong shadows on my subject matter.  I look for a composition of dark and light patterns that create dynamic tension and energy.  My work is drawn from the realism of nature, creating an overall pattern which approaches abstraction.  Last, but not least, I use color to enhance the images and enchant the viewer.  It is my hope to be able to share my comprehension of the world and its beauty with others through my art."
